Storm Saulter’s Possession has reached HBO Max across the Caribbean and Latin America, according to the director’s October 28 Jamaica Gleaner interview. The report dates that platform rollout to Friday, October 23, clarifying the streaming provider absent from this page’s earlier coverage.
The five-part supernatural thriller, written by Karla Crome, is set between Jamaica and England. Gugu Mbatha-Raw plays a lawyer who travels to Jamaica over a disputed inheritance, with Jamaican performers including Sheldon Shepherd, Nadean Rawlins and Jeff Crossley in the cast.
Saulter described the HBO distribution as a personal milestone after growing up watching the network’s dramas. His interview also connects the series’ themes of colonialism, race and inheritance with wider conversations about Caribbean history.
The Gleaner report also announced an October 27 Canadian launch through Showcase and STACKTV. Availability remains territory-specific; the interview did not establish a United States release date.
