Ikaya is bringing the conversation around her single Trust back to human connection and vulnerability. In an October 30 Jamaica Observer interview, the Waterhouse singer described betrayal as something whose consequences reach beyond romantic relationships.

The interview also focuses on the business behind her music. Ikaya described establishing One Soul Music Group and releasing Working Girl through her own imprint as important steps towards taking greater ownership of her career.
