Yaadcore is preparing Rasta Time, an EP from Mixto Records and 12 Yaad Records. In an October 16 Jamaica Gleaner interview, he connected the project to Rastafari identity and recognition of the movement’s cultural contributions.
The upcoming release includes collaborations with Capleton, Imeru Tafari and Malaïka Sylaire, alongside acoustic and dub versions. It follows his 2022 debut album, Reggaeland.
Yaadcore also described how his years as a selector helped develop his ear for rhythms, melodies and live performance. The report does not specify a release date for the EP.
