Soca News invited UK-based soca and calypso artistes to help shape the proposed UK Soca & Calypso Growth Programme 2027 through a consultation with an advertised deadline of 11:59 p.m. on October 12, 2026.
The survey asked performers who write, record and release original music about performance opportunities, promotion, audience development, radio exposure and opportunities outside London.
The proposed programme was expected to incorporate UK Soca Monarch in London during August 2027. The advertised consultation deadline has now passed; this archived report does not announce an extension or invite new submissions.
