Guadeloupe artiste TIITII NBA is placing closer collaboration with Dominican musicians at the centre of his musical direction, according to an interview with Dominica News Online.
The Morne-à-l’Eau performer described starting with an iPhone, wired earphones and BandLab before investing in improved recording equipment. He also recalled the Dominican music that helped shape his interest in bouyon.
His cross-island recordings include “Full Speed” with Milly, produced by DJ Taffy for Big Bang Records 767, and “Shake It” with Trixz Migos. The interview explores an ongoing exchange of ideas between Guadeloupe and Dominica rather than announcing a new album or tour.
