Loyal Flames is preparing his first full-length album for early 2027, according to a November 1 Jamaica Observer interview. The singer identified the project as Break Free: The Journey and said it would contain 16 tracks, with Evidence Music and Little Lion handling its release and distribution.
The announcement outlines a planned release rather than an album already on sale. An exact date was not given in the report. Loyal Flames described the project as an opportunity to bring the positive themes of his singles together in a complete collection.
The interview comes amid renewed interest in Working, a recording first released in 2011. The Observer reported that a circulated video of dancehall artiste Skippa requesting the song had brought new listeners to it. Loyal Flames said he welcomed that appreciation from a younger performer.
Working was produced by Vikings Production on the Baby Mother rhythm and addresses the strain of trying to make a living. The Old Harbour artiste, born Devar Stennett, told the newspaper that the song drew on circumstances he recognised in his own life and community. Its return to discussion connects his earlier catalogue with the next stage of his career.
