Kevin Downswell leads the 2026 Sterling Gospel Music Awards field with six nominations, including Male Artiste of the Year, Collaboration of the Year, Local Hit of the Year and Local Hit Producer of the Year.
Johnmark Wiggan and Gilead Collective follow with five nominations each, while Prince Saj received four. Nominees across the wider field include Rhoda Isabella, Jermaine Edwards, Chevelle Franklyn, Rondell Positive, Sherwin Gardner and Trinidadian gospel-reggae artist Positive.
The awards’ 10th edition will move from a physical ceremony to a television special on TVJ on October 18, with streaming planned through TVJ’s YouTube channel and the Sterling platform.
