Iley Dread is preparing to celebrate his birthday and 31 years of Kings Of Kings Productions with the release of “Upliftment,” his sixth album.
The celebration is planned for December 16 at Kingston’s Louise Bennett Garden Theatre.
The project is expected to contain 19 tracks on CD and 12 on vinyl. Previously released collaborations include “Love Me Forever” with Marcia Griffiths and “Many Rivers” with Jah Mason.
The anniversary also highlights the Montreal-founded label’s longstanding connections with Jamaican reggae artists and producers.
