International Soca Monarch is due to return for Trinidad and Tobago Carnival in 2027. Scorch Ltd announced the revival on October 2 under the theme “Trinidad Versus the World,” according to Soca News.
Organisers say the competition will give greater emphasis to soca’s international reach. The event last took place virtually in 2021, when Farmer Nappy won with Backyard Jam.
